Deeply rooted in the music industry, Pressed PR was originally founded as a passion project that would empower other independent artists to succeed as our founder, Dawn Jones, is an independent musician herself. Dawn wanted to develop a modern company that embodied the essence of intentional, personal, and innovative marketing with a team that displayed the strongest work ethic for their artists... thus Pressed PR was born.

Throughout the span of Pressed PR’s existence, our team has worked on a variety of campaigns ranging from independent artists just starting out to celebrity artists with millions of fans, leading companies in the music-tech space, venues, and emerging record labels, among others. Pressed PR’s clientele has landed in the pages of Billboard, Forbes, Huffington Post, Esquire, American Songwriter, No Depression, Parade, Atwood Magazine, EARMILK, Ones To Watch, The Bluegrass Situation, HYPE Magazine, and many more.

Since its inception, Pressed PR has evolved to be a collective of publicists, graphic designers, playlist promoters, and other industry professionals that cater to clients in a variety of creative industries — creating a fresh, modern, and intentional approach to brand visibility.
As a result of this evolution, Pressed PR has expanded into PressedFresh Collective - an “à-la-carte” label model creating a one-stop-shop for independent artists and empowering them to stay INDEPENDENT.
